The automation specialist role is analyzing data and technical setup for new or existing solutions and problems, designing, implementing and documenting full or partial automation solutions for IT solutions and processes used for IT Service Desk operations, On Site Support operations, infrastructure services and application services – all of them either used IT internal or as well by End Users.

  • Analyze the large amount of activity data to drive the insight of user behavior and best way to identify relevant data and convert it into partially or fully automated solutions
  • You will work with IT internal teams, 3rd party vendors and internal business teams to analyze automation opportunities that help solve client problems and deliver significant measurable impact
  • Use and examine current technologies such as XML, JSON, CSV and SQL, Java, Javascript and others
  • Run experiments on new and existing features. Ability to learn new technologies and influence the team and leadership to constantly implement modern solutions
  • Administration of IT Service Desk Solutions, such as ticketing tools (e.g. BMC Remedyforce, Salesforce)

  • Previous experience in IT Solutions with a preference for knowledge in Java and/or additional programming languages

  • Good understanding of IT System landscapes (e.g. Microsoft Active Directory Management, O365, APIs)
  • Experienced in Javascript and web application development
  • Experience in working with large datasets and relational databases (SQL)
  • Experience with PowerShell Scripting is a MUST
  • Experience in IT Problem Management
