WHAT YOU WILL DO

In this position, you will be responsible for credit management (risk assessment, exposure control) and for the relevant collections activities (dunning, overdue analysis, and resolution, as well as sales order credit check) for the specific customer portfolio. The purpose of the role is to prevent or decrease the overdue and commercial losses as well as mitigate the credit risk for the company.

The SCM Specialist is also working closely with other
team members in Credit Management team to coordinate the distribution of the daily tasks and priorities, follow-up and support the team members on the resolution and escalation of overdues and stakeholder management.

The role will be also responsible to conduct the training and coaching on the new ways and SOPs for the other team members.

 

HOW YOU WILL DO IT

By conducting credit and collection management:

  • Debt portfolio monitoring
  • Dispute and query management
  • Overseen customer calling to align payment dates and amount to be collected
  • Perform account reconciliations
  • Create and monitor payment plans
  • Ensure all relevant documentation is provided to customers
  • Evaluate credit risks and calculate limit for customers
  • Perform order block and release as required by Credit Policy Process
  • Create CF forecast and deliver outpayment decisions
  • Execute dunning and collection activities
  • Perform reporting, bad debts calculation and Month End Closing activities for receivables
  • Check and approve Data Management change

By development and performing process training:

  • Create and maintain training documentation
  • Coach and train new colleagues
  • Review and recommend enhancements for improving the current workflow in order to increase efficiency within the process

By conducting interaction and Relationship Management

  • With the operations center in Prague and the sales teams and external customers (clients) in the country portfolio
  • Establishing and maintaining relationships with credit agencies
  • Interfacing with other operations centers and team Support escalation and approval management for critical tasks

THE RIGHT OPPORTUNITY IF YOU HAVE

  • You have University Business Studies, Finance, Legal studies or equal job experience
  • You have previous experience in finance/ accounting, risk management, commercial function, litigation OR customer/ client services experience.
  • You have accounting/ finance knowledge and good computer skills (Microsoft Office)
  • You are fluent or native in Danish or Swedish and at least a communicative level of English
  • You love taking on challenges and finding solutions
  • You are patient, levelheaded, and cool under pressure. If you don’t know the answer, you’ll know how to ask, or dig until you find it
