THE ROLE

In this position you will be responsible for supporting the team with accounting and reporting services, helping to ensure the integrity and effectiveness of accounting policy application, internal control, financial reporting, accounting systems support and delivery of financial accounting processes in conformance with company systems and requirements.

Within your role some of your responsibilities will be:

  • Ensuring that accounting manuals and other documentation is kept up to date, ensuring that processes are performed based on manuals and completed in time
  • Keeping methodological documents, guidelines, and procedures
  • Overseeing reconciliations of statutory accounts and other assigned accounts,
    follow up disputed items found out during reconciliations
  • Providing training to newcomers or other employees in scope
  • Cooperating and providing information to stakeholders (client, Auditors, authorities, HQ) as applicable
  • Organizing of local audits and coordination with Prague office
  • Cooperating on local financial statements for the client, its compliance

 

AN IDEAL OPPORTUNITY FOR SOMEONE with…

  • Good understanding of accounting principles (IFRS)
  • At least 3 years of working experience in accounting
  • Economic (Accounting) University degree
  • English language at a professional working proficiency
  • Ability to apply hands-on approach if necessary
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel
  • SAP or other accounting system experience
  • Responsible, proactive, independent and self-motivated individual
