THE ROLE

Inventory Deployment Senior Specialist is responsible for managing the stock levels of company’s products. You will be taking care of a portfolio of customers and ensure the best service by preventing out of stocks and balance the stock levels according to the customer’s needs. You will be in close contact with our commercial supply and inventory deployment team to align on the right strategy. As a Specialist, you will be the Subject Matter Expert for client and product-related processes while analyzing and solving complex issues. You are responsible for Customer Experience and Supply Chain within the internal company processes and clients in Europe(no outsourced environment).

WITHIN YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Stock management – right finished goods/empties are available at the right location at the right moment.
  • Follow up Service Level Performance and Variable Logistics Costs.
  • Daily contact with Scheduling, Order Taking, Front Office, Transport Planning, Forecasting & own team.
  • Act as a point of contact to identify and analyse risks for out of stocks, whilst coordinating solutions with strong stakeholder management across the Supply Chain and Commercial teams to mitigate issues.
  • Obsolete and supply chain loss management.
  • Project coordination and integration.
  • Creating stock transfers and allocating stocks according to market needs.
  • Manage all empties flow within the network, balancing according to production needs are warehouse capacities
  • Participate and provide input related to operations on daily/weekly/monthly routines in the business.
  • Escalates unsolved issues to the right business SPOC.
  • Analysis of stock age for finished goods inventories, identifies risks and liaises with business SPOCs.
  • Reacts to ad-hoc business demands with a sense of urgency and proactively questions status quo to solve issues.
  • Support to structural improvements (PDCA & Risk Management follow-up) & projects, SLA, KPI and Excellence Program dashboard tracking support.
  • Coordination of inbound container flows to the UK, including planning distribution and ocean carrier cost validation.

 

THE FITTING PROFILE

  • Fluent/Native German and Fluent English
  • University education preferably in Economics/ Business Administration/ Logistics/ International Trade.
  • You have experience in a multi-national company / ERP / SAP environment.
  • Highly customer-oriented mindset.
  • Strong coordinating, analytical skills.
  • Strong self-organization and time management skills.
  • Continually seeking out new improvements and opportunities.
  • Knowledge of MS Excel.
  • Self-starter, a team player ready to work hard and learn more.
  • High energy & positive attitude.
